Pasadena Reds are a diverse, welcoming bunch. See a gallery of our members or come down to Lucky Baldwin's and get to know us better. The following members are some faces and names to get you started. Say hello, introduce yourself and join us.
ERIC FEARON was born in Liverpool and has been a fervent red since his childhood. Despite years living far from the city, including decades in California, his love for the club remains as strong as his scouse accent. The founder of the Pasadena Reds, Eric attends most matches at Lucky's, where he can be found with his pot of tea at the bar, happy to chat to all comers.
EFREN DE ANDA says "I became a Liverpool fan at halftime of Istanbul. I decided to root for the underdog only hoping that it would make for a better CL Final. I couldn't understand why their fans were singing YNWA at halftime despite being down 3-0. That's the day I realized that faith moves mountains. I bought my first kit at the start of the 2007-2008 season and questioned my devotion during the Hicks and Gillette fiasco (couldn't stand their arrogance). I had faith that it would change for the better and thankfully it has."
ARMEN MANOOKIAN saw John Barnes play and was hooked. Who wouldn't be? He has been a Pasadena Red since the early days, bringing his cheery and friendly self to the pub and diligently going to the men's room whenever we needed a goal.
HELEN STEELE was born and brought up on Merseyside, England. Given a choice between red and blue, she chose correctly, falling in love with Liverpool FC, its culture and its fans. She has never regretted it, enduring the lows and appreciating the highs – and what highs they have been! She has been a Pasadena Red since 2016 and can normally be found near the bar warning "Careful Now!" to the players on the screen.
RYAN LOVELL writes: "As a proud Liverpool supporter since 2006, I've lived through the recent highs and lows of this incredible club and celebrated every moment of "You'll Never Walk Alone." My love for football finds its genesis with FIFA (now EA Sports FC) which at one point I was ranked in the top 500 in the world.
I am currently balancing my passion for football with my career as a physical therapist. I wear two hats in my profession: clinician and professor, sharing my knowledge with students while helping patients improve the way they move and live more functional lives.
I also recently got lucky and married Jasmine Sandoval, marking a beautiful new chapter in my life.
I also enjoy planning events and bringing people together to rejoice, often at the vibrant atmosphere of Lucky Baldwin's. This page is my way of connecting with fellow Reds and celebrating the beautiful game. YNWA!"
